skanda is a Chennai-based BFSI-IT staffing and consulting group, placing consultants and permanent hires with client organisations and providing related consulting services. This policy applies to candidates and consultants in our database, to the client contacts we work with, and to visitors of this website.
Information we collect
From candidates and consultants: name and contact details, resume/CV, employment history, education, skills and certifications, current and expected compensation, notice period, and — where a specific engagement requires it — identity and background-verification documents (such as government ID numbers, address proof, and employment/education certificates).
From client contacts: name, designation, company and contact details, and the hiring requirements shared with us.
How we use this information
We use candidate information to assess fit for open positions, to share relevant profiles with client organisations for hiring consideration, to coordinate interviews and offers, and — where applicable — to coordinate background verification with our verification partners. We use client contact information to manage the hiring requirement, share candidates, and handle billing for placements. We also use contact details to communicate by email, phone, or WhatsApp about active processes.
How we share information
Candidate profiles are shared with client organisations only in connection with a specific hiring requirement. Where a placement requires background verification, relevant documents are shared with our verification partner for that purpose only.
We do not sell candidate or client information to third parties. We may disclose information where required by law or a valid legal process.
No fees from candidates
skanda never collects any fee from candidates or consultants for recruitment or placement services, at any stage.
Data retention
We retain candidate and client information for as long as reasonably needed to provide our services and to meet legal, tax, and compliance obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
Data security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect the personal information we hold, and limit access to staff who need it to do their work.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask us not to share your profile with a specific client, by writing to us using the details below.
Cookies and this website
This website does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Embedded third-party content — such as WhatsApp and map links — may be subject to that provider's own privacy practices once you interact with it.
